The Eberlestock Freefall 3000 is a 46L (2,800 cu. in.) tactical backpack built for missions, law enforcement, and demanding outdoor use. Constructed from nylon with a soft-shell design, it measures 28″H × 13″W × 9″D and weighs approximately 5 lbs 1 oz, striking a balance between capacity and packability. Organisation is a core strength: the pack features a spacious top lid, 7 interior pockets, a water bladder sleeve with interior clip and drinking-tube port, an interior partition, exterior water bottle pockets, compression straps, and hip-belt pockets — 11 pockets and 2 main compartments in total. The 3000 size also adds zipper access to a base compression compartment suited for a lightweight sleeping bag or clothing. The hydration clip is compatible with most standard bladders, including Eberlestock’s own 2L and 3L Source bladders. Comfort is addressed through a padded hip belt and padded shoulder harness, designed to distribute load effectively over long carries.
