The Benchmade 537FE-02 Bailout is a purpose-built folding knife designed for tactical and everyday carry use. It features a 3.38-inch tanto blade machined from CPM-M4 super steel, hardened to 62–64 HRC for exceptional edge retention and durability under hard use. The plain edge grind keeps sharpening straightforward in the field, and the tanto point geometry is well-suited for penetration tasks and controlled cutting work.

The handle is constructed from 6061-T6 billet aluminum with a Crater Blue Cerakote finish, offering a lightweight yet rigid frame that holds up to regular use. At 4.69 inches closed, the knife carries compactly without sacrificing a usable grip. The ambidextrous AXIS lock mechanism allows for smooth, one-handed opening and closing, making it practical for either hand regardless of conditions.
